  • Lets the web app use your DSC USB token

System requirements

Web appA current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Internet is needed to open the page and to activate the licence; signing itself happens in the browser.
Windows appWindows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (part of Windows 11; installed with Edge on Windows 10; the setup tells you if it is missing). No .NET or administrator rights needed.
DSC signingA Class 3 signing certificate on a USB token whose driver (ePass2003, ProxKey, mToken, Watchdata …) is installed, so the certificate appears in Windows under certmgr.msc → Personal → Certificates. In the web app, also Prygenix Sign Helper.

Installing the Windows app

  1. Run the downloaded Prygenix-Sign-<version>.exe. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, check the name is Prygenix Sign Setup, then Run anyway.
  2. Accept the licence agreement and click Install. Prygenix Sign opens from the Start menu (and the desktop, if you kept that option).
  3. Your 14-day trial starts. When you buy, click Licence at the top right and paste your key.

Remove it any time from Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Prygenix Sign; the licence is released so you can use it on another computer.

Using the helper with the web app

  1. Download and run Prygenix-SignHelper-<version>.exe. The P icon appears in the tray.
  2. In the web app, tick Also sign with my DSC (USB token) and choose your certificate. If your browser asks whether sign.prygenix.com may access devices on your local network, allow it: that is how the page reaches the helper.
  3. When you save, the helper shows which document and certificate will be used. Click Sign, then enter the token PIN.
